SIG ranked in the Fast 500 EMEA

We are proud to announce that the Software Improvement Group (SIG) is ranked on number 485 in the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, which is a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
We are proud to announce that the Software Improvement Group (SIG) is ranked on number 485 in the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, which is a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
To determine the fastest growing companies, Deloitte calculated the revenue growth percentage over five years (2004-2008). Making this list is quite an accomplishment for SIG. SIG was previously ranked 408 on 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
This strong growth is due to many factors, including our ongoing product development and internationalisation.
“Making the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking is a testament to a company’s commitment to technology,” David Halstead, partner in charge of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA program. “With its 371,96% growth rate over five years, SIG has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to grow in difficult conditions.”
The Technology Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte’s EMEA Technology Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 500, entrants must have had 2004 operating revenues of at least €50,000 and 2008 operating revenues of at least €800,000.
Entrants must also be public or private companies headquartered in EMEA and must be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
