GOAL

The GOAL IDE is an open-source editor for the GOAL programming language. This language allows you to progam rational agents which derive their choice of action from their beliefs and goals. The project is used in a variety of research projects, as can be seen from projects website.

The GOAL language and IDE has initially been developed by Koen Hindriks, member of the Man-Machine Interaction section at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of Delft University of Technology:

"SIG has provided us with many insights on how to improve the quality of our code and has helped us to locate where to start. The expert advice SIG is able to provide on how to ensure and improve software quality has been and will remain useful for increasing the quality of our software that is continuously being developed by different programmers over time."
