Open Code Clinic

SIG promotes building maintainable software by evaluating the maintainability of the software from open source projects or delivered by students or other academics.

To allow students to experience a software quality evaluation we have measured four projects for 'Software Architecture & Design' course at the Hogeschool Utrecht. We have provided specific recommendations for improving the code quality and are looking forward to receive the new and improved versions. The following table lists the measurements for the initial code uploads:

Project    Rating
Group 1
Group 2
Group 3
Group 4

Other projects

Past projects that SIG evaluated for various students or other academics.

These ratings are performed according to the SIG/TÜViT Evaluation Criteria, which form the basis of the Software Product Certification service that SIG offers in collaboration with TÜV Informationstechnik (TÜViT).

If you know about a system that you would like to see in the Open Code Clinic, please contact Miguel Ferreira. We will let you know if the system is suited for the Open Code Clinic, and if it is we will analyze it and report back to you.
