SIG sponsors Conference of Software Maintenance and Reengineering

SIG is proud to sponsor the 15th Conference of Software Maintenance and Reengineering (CSMR). CSMR is the prime European forum for researchers in the domain of software maintenance and re-engineering to exchange ideas and present their work. This year, the CSMR takes place in the Carl von Ossietzky University at, Oldenburg, Germany.
Dr. Yiannis Kanellopoulos of SIG presides as program chair together with professor Tom Mens (University of Mons).
Joost Visser (head of Research at SIG) has been invited to partake in the industrial panel to debate about current trends in Software Evolution and to offer a presentation on the research conducted by SIG on models for maintainability, reliability, architectural quality, and technical debt.

The fifth international workshop on Software Quality and Maintainability (SQM 2011) will be held in combination with the main CSMR conference. Organizers of SMQ 2011 are Magiel Bruntink of SIG and Prof. Kostas Kontogiannis of the University of Athens. SQM offers a forum to researchers to present their original work and to practitioners to relate their experiences on issues pertaining to software quality and maintainability.
