SIG sponsors conference on Software Language Engineering
August 25, 2010
SIG is proud to sponsor Software Language Engineering 2010. The SLE conference series brings together specialists from various Software Engineering disciplines. They are united by the insight that technically different software artefacts, such as program code, UML models, ontologies, and business process models are in fact all "linguistic" in nature. SIG shares this insight and helps its customers to apply best software engineering practises across all technologies involved in building complex systems.

Doctoral Symposium Best Paper Award
To encourage oustanding young researchres, SIG will honor the best paper of the Doctoral Symposium at SLE 2010 with the Best Paper Award.
SLE 2010
The 3rd International Conference on Software Language Engineering (SLE 2010) will take place in Eindhoven, The Netherlands on 12-13 October 2010. SLE’s foremost mission is to encourage and organize communication between communities that have traditionally looked at software languages from different, more specialized, and yet complementary perspectives. SLE emphasizes the fundamental notion of languages as opposed to any realization in specific “technical spaces”. The SLE conference is concerned with all phases of the lifecycle of software languages; these include the design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, evolution, recovery, and retirement of languages. Of special interest are tools, techniques, methods and formalisms that support these activities.
