KAS BANK and SIG nominated for the Banking & Finance ICT Innovation Award
October 22, 2009
We are delighted to inform you that the Software Improvement Group (SIG) has been nominated for the Banking & Finance ICT Innovation Award 2009 for a project undertaken in partnership with KAS BANK.
To be eligible for nomination, entered projects were assessed by members of the Banking & Finance committee according to the following criteria:
- Innovation;
- Workable in the ‘real’ world;
- Demonstrable impact on performance and costs.
KAS BANK and SIG jointly entered this ICT Innovation Award. The nominated project involved the migration of part of KAS Bank's legacy environment to a modern, easily maintainable and future-proof application architecture. KAS BANK was able to minimise the risk associated with such a large-scale migration project.
The winner was announced during the Grand Gala in Brussels on 27 November 2009.
