The Dutch standards organisation (NEN) has invited Joost Visser, head of R&D at SIG, to preside its newly formed norm committee for Software and Systems Engineering.

This norm committee has multiple activities, related to the development and dissemination of software engineering standards at national and international level. In particular, the committee will develop a norm guide which will help software engineering practitioners to quickly identify which standards are relevant to them and how they can best apply them.
