Conferences: SLE, MODELS and WCRE 2008
20 October 2008
Between September 28th and 29th, 2008, the Software Improvement Group was represented in the 1st International Conference on Software Language Engineering (SLE) held in Toulouse, France.
The SLE conference was devoted to the topics of artificial languages in software engineering covering topics of language and tool analysis and evaluation, language engineering techniques, language implementation and analysis among others. SIG contributed to the conference presenting the work entitled “A Case Study in Grammar Engineering” by Tiago L. Alves and Joost Visser.
The SLE conference was co-located with the 11th International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems (MODELS), held in Toulouse, France, which is the most important forum on model-driven engineering where SIG was also represented.
Between October 15th and 18th, 2008, the Software Improvement Group was represented in the 15th Working Conference on Reverse Engineering (WCRE), held in Antwerp, Belgium. The WCRE conference is the most important forum on reverse engineering and having focused in the topics of change coupling and patterns, dynamic analysis, program comprehension, data reverse engineering, among others.
SIG contributed to the conference by presenting the work entitled “Benchmarking Technical Quality of Software Products” by José Pedro Correia and Joost Visser.
