The Software Improvement Group: winner Innovator Award 2007

23 October 2007
On 23 October 2007, during the National ICT Event, one of the biggest ICT Awards in the Netherlands was awarded: the Innovator Award 2007. The award is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The jury appointed SIG as the winner.

In 2005, SIG had been nominated for the R&D Innovation Award. Back then, the use of innovative technology was central in the services provided by organisations. Back then, SIG managed to take the award back to Amsterdam.

In 2007, the main eligibility criteria were quality and innovative design of the application, visionary approach to the possibilities of ICT and the potential of the company and the application in the coming years. With this second success, the Software Improvement Group has demonstrably proven that it can apply innovative technology successfully and safeguard continuity in a growing international market.

The jury, consisting of established names from the business community and the 2006 winner, had the following to say:

“The Software Improvement Group is the rightful winner of the Innovator Award 2007, because it offers software companies the opportunity to apply a quality label to their product. In addition, the product contributes to the prosperity of the ICT sector as a whole.”
