Tobias Kuipers presented SIG's perspective on monitoring of outsourced software...
...at a joint session of the workshops on "Tools for Managing Globally Distributed Software Development" (TOMAG 2007) and on "Tool-Supported Requirements Management in Distributed Projects" (REMIDI 2007).
Dr. Kuipers explained the general method deployed by SIG to determine software quality and identify software risks. In addition, he discussed three anonymised case studies of distributed software development projects, where monitoring was successfully used to reduce costs and guarantee quality.
