Seminar on legal advice and assistance for newly developed software system
The number of lawsuits filed against failing IT suppliers continues to rise. These cases usually require the expertise of a legal specialist to rationalise the dispute, enabling the courts to reach a well-considered verdict.
In practice, however, issues such as technical quality and legal aspects are overlooked (though not the suspected culprit), in favour of organisational aspects.
A project with a budget of USD 75,000 has a 55 percent probability of being successfully concluded. The higher the budget, the lower the chances of success. (Source: Computable, 14 April 2006)
To address this issue, the Software Development Group, in association with Certa Legal, are organising Legal Seminars on legal advice and assistance when developing a new software system. During this seminar, they will emphasis the potentially huge costs of building a system without proper controls.
These seminars will also be offered to companies. The Software Improvement Group and Certa Legal will organise an “incompany” seminar with you for your employees.
