28th position in the Deloitte Fast50
With a growth rate of 283%, the Software Improvement Group is ranked 28th in the sixth edition of the Technology Fast50 competition.
The competition, organised by Deloitte in partnership with ING, Euronext and FEM Business, is the foremost technology award programme for growing companies. More than 100 organisations competed.
“Over the last five years, the Software Improvement Group has grown by 283%. The awards ceremony took place in Media Plaza in Utrecht on 22 September, where SIG ranked 28th in the Fast50. We are genuinely proud with this second award, earlier this year we won the National R&D and Innovation Award. This confirms our belief that it is possible to build a profitable innovative organisation. The Software Improvement Group has been active in the ICT sector since 2000. Our growth rate has been achieved mainly by exploring new analysis methodologies in partnership with our customers and partners. This has enabled us to gain a quick insight into the risks of the application portfolios.” Marjo Wildvank, CEO of the Software Improvement Group.
To be eligible for selection, the Software Improvement Group had to satisfy various criteria. Participating organisations have to develop their own technology, devote a high percentage of effort to Research and Development, and the parent company must be based in the Netherlands. Turnover must be over Euro 50,000 in 2000. The Technology Fast50 Nederland is part of a worldwide programme for organisations operating in the technology sector. The Fast 500 list is compiled from national (regional) Fast 50 rankings in Europe and the United States.
