Winner R&D and Innovation Award
On 17 May 2005, the jury of the Nationaal ICT Event 2005 announced that the Software Improvement Group is the winner of the R&D and Innovation Award for best Research & Development.
We owe this victory to our latest innovative product, the Software Monitor.
The jury reports states the following: “developing software development know-how will soon be more important than software development itself. It is precisely in this area of the knowledge economy that Dutch businesses can distinguish themselves. The Software Monitor is a true example of this. This instrument resolves the longstanding dilemma of how to improve and simplify complex software systems. Logically, this product should be launched in the financial sector, because of the complexity of this sector. The jury has high expectations for the commercial opportunities presented by this product.”
More information on the Software Monitor can be found here.
"This award is a direct result of our relentless focus on creating innovative solutions for our clients. Our Software Monitoring product leverages existing technology in an innovative way. The Software Monitor is particularly suitable for monitoring source code progress and quality of internal software development, outsourcing and/or offshoring. It gives clients unparalleled control over their software development efforts.” According to Tobias Kuipers, CTO of the Software Improvement Group.
The Software Improvement Group is the foremost centre of excellence for software engineering that enables quality improvement, complexity reduction and reengineering of software. It is our vision that quality improvement, complexity reduction and reengineering of software starts by creating insight. Insight allows management to really understand ICT issues. With understanding comes the ability to make informed decisions, improve quality, and shorten time-to-market.
