Am 10. und 11. Juni dieses Jahres organisiert CXO Media, Herausgeber des Chief Financial Officer, den achten CFO-Tag: Eine internationale Jahresveranstaltung für CFOs, Group Controllers und Financial Exekutives. In diesem Jahr sind wir einer der Partner.

Am 11. Juni organisiert die SIG das Rundgespräch zum Thema „Software related costs and risks: how to get in control”. Many CFOs seem to be struggling with big corporate software systems. This relates to both investing in new systems and effective management of existing systems. This is remarkable because other corporate assets such as physical assets seem often more "in control". The management of software systems are often a challenge for the CFO, while the costs and also risks in complex software systems are often much greater than for other assets. Typical questions are: 'How can I prevent a large, unnecessary write off on strategic software projects?' And 'What is the relationship between risk management responsibilities of the CFO and the software portfolio?'
